Welcome to Trafalgar Castle School, home of the Summer Institute of Church Music. This elegant residential facility in Whitby, Ontario lies just 30 minutes east of downtown Toronto. Dedicated to education since when it opened as the Ontario Ladies’ College in1874, since 1970 it has been a destination for Canadian church musicians seeking an annual retreat-style oasis of learning, friendship and inspiration.

In this unique setting, the finest performers, conductors, teachers and thinkers the church musical world of North America has to offer have gathered for decades with organists, pianists, choir and worship leaders, handbell players, and choristers from all denominations and at all ability levels to celebrate and grow together in their craft.
