Help attending SICM

In any given session of SICM, over 60% of students have their tuition, meal, accommodation, travel and incidental expenses subsidized by a church or other institution as an investment in their work and ministry. Students and prospective students are strongly encouraged to build this annual support into their music budgets, or to seek it early enough to have their request considered by church administrations, parish councils, music committees, foundations, local denominational organizations and others - all of these sources have helped SICM students in the past.

For those not able to arrange this support, In keeping with Founder Dr. Stanley Osborne’s vision for the Summer Institute of Church Music, the Dr. Kenneth Inkster Bursary Fund provides assistance to church musicians to attend the Institute. Please write to the Registrar, sicm-registrar@orgalt.com describing your situation. The Board of Governors will field all requests, and attempt to help as many as possible.
